Yes, we offer direct billing to most extended benefit providers. However, there are a few that do not allow direct billing but we will provide a receipt with your massage therapists licence to submit.

Do I have to be injured to get a massage?

No, you do not have to have an injury or an active ICBC claim to get a massage. Anyone is able to book an appointment and receive the therapeutic benefits of massage therapy.

Besides muscle pain, what are the benefits of massage therapy?

Massage treatments have been show to reduce muscle tension, increase blood flow and lymphatic drainage, reduce stress, and even increase serotonin levels. Some people even use massage as form of mental therapy.

Can I get a massage if I have a migraine?

Migraines can be debilitating leaving you wiped. If you feel a migraine coming on, a massage therapist may be able to help. Many migraines/headaches stem from posture related issues as well as muscle tension. Relieving the tension can mitigate migraine symptoms and even stop it all together.

How often should I get a massage?

Every person is different as is their scenario. Talk to your RMT about your goals and needs and they will develop a tailored program to help you feel better and achieve your set goals.

Do I have to take off all my clothes?

No. A massage is meant to be relaxing and beneficial for stress reduction. Do whatever makes your comfortable.

Do I tell you massage therapy where I am injured?

Your RMT will do a detailed intake with you on your first visit. Please let them know of any active injuries or areas of concern you have so they can give you the best treatment.
